J310 Fet

J310 Fet

  1. J310 FET N-ch 350MHz. J310, N-channel JFET VHF / UHF amplifier, 25v 10mA, commonly used in RF amplifier. MMBFJ271 FET P-ch. JFET P-ch Switching Small Signal 30v 50mA SOT-23 SMD versi.
  2. I have some plastic J310 JFETs but U310s are scarce. As these are now very old devices, around 40 years old, is there a more recent alternative? I don't want to radically alter the grounded gate circuit so would have to be a 'drop in' replacement. If all else fails will the plastic J310 work as well as the metal U310?
  3. Wideband, High Gain, Single, N- Channel JFET Others with the same file for datasheet: U308, U309, U310: Download J310 datasheet from Linear Systems: pdf 136 kb: TRANS JFET N-CH 60MA 3TO-92: Download J310 datasheet from New Jersey Semiconductor.
  4. 3 usable transistors for radio & and (V) HF circuits, all of them surely work between (say) 2 MC and 30 MC. Or even higher and surely on lower frequenc.

I have here an old Mirage 2M 80W linear with preamp but the U310 (metal can)
JFET in the preamp was dead when I bought it so have been using with the
preamp off. I really need to compensate for cable losses between the rig
and linear so want to repair the preamp. I have some plastic J310 JFETs but
U310s are scarce. As these are now very old devices, around 40 years old,
is there a more recent alternative? I don't want to radically alter the
grounded gate circuit so would have to be a 'drop in' replacement.
If all else fails will the plastic J310 work as well as the metal U310?
I've only ever used these devices on HF before so not sure how touchy they
are on 2M.

If you live near me, I would be glad to take it into work and measure
