Utopia is the upcoming fourth studio album by American artist Travis Scott. The album title was confirmed by Travis Scott through his social media accounts on October 5, 2020.[1][2][3] The project was first teased in late summer 2020 through a series of cryptic messages posted by Scott, with the artist further teasing it through the release of merchandise (following his collaboration with McDonald's) and new music.[4][5][6][7]

Young Thug, M.I.A., Future and Roddy Ricch are among Utopia's possible features, with more to be announced. Scott allegedly gave each featured artist custom album-inspired jewelry. The album is preceded by two singles: 'Highest in the Room' and 'Franchise'. Both singles topped the Billboard Hot 100 when they debuted.[citation needed]

Scott

A fourth studio album was teased in July 2020 when Scott posted an image on Instagram with the caption 'Utopia'.[8] The following month on Astroworld's second anniversary, he took to Twitter and thanked his fans for supporting him during his career with his last words being 'See You in Utopia' and a possible 2021 release date.[9] In October 2019, Scott released the album's lead single 'Highest in the Room'[10] accompanied by a music video and was later remixed by Lil Baby and Rosalรญa which was released on Scott's compilation album JackBoys featuring his Cactus Jack members.[11] The single was followed by 'Franchise' featuring Young Thug and M.I.A. which also had a remix with Future. 'Franchise' was previously teased as 'White Tee' on Scott and his DJ Chase B's Apple Music radio .WAV.[12] Snippets of two other songs titled 'Niagara Falls', featuring 21 Savage, and 'Vision', were also teased on the radio. However, it is unknown if the two songs will be included on the album. In January 2021, 'Niagara Falls' and 'Vision' were leaked on Spotify but after some hours it got taken down.[13]
